"Refugee Summer School" (working title), a feature documentary in post-production, co-directed and produced with Peter Miller

"Refugee Summer School" documents newly arrived students at the†International Rescue Committeeís Summer Academy - an intense, New York-based academic and cultural ìboot campî for children, ages 5 to 18, seeking asylum†from the worldís most volatile conflicts from places like Iraq, Tibet, West Africa and Nepal. It will present intimate, emotionally gripping accounts of escaping war and conflict and resettling in America. The film chronicles the children's triumphs and setbacks as their lives unfold over the course of one formative summer.
